A busy week and weekend!

We had a busy first weekend home and all of last week, lots of visitors and well wishes in person and over the phone....
First things first, we went out on the town as a family.  Please ignore that it looks like I am still holding my pregnancy belly - it's hard to forget he is out!  We went to Cold Spoons Gelatto - right near our house.  It was our first car trip with Dylan and he enjoyed it, we think :)

Great Auntie Elaine and Grandma Pearl came by on Tuesday
My mom and aunt caught a great family moment with Georgia too!  Mozart, well, he was not into taking a picture, but it was fun to have Georgia in the group
On Thursday Malissa came by with Keira for a visit....
and Malissa cleaned my floors while I napped-way too nice!
Then the weekend~ Aunt Kristie (Eric's sister) Uncle Aaron, and cousins Brett, Wyatt and Grant all came.  Kristie to see the baby the boys I think were a bit more into the Wii and Flight Simulator.  It was great to have them stop on their way through the area after their vacation to Kentucky.  We had a nice grill out for lunch.

Aunt Angie came down for a visit too - and helped paint our back hallway off the kitchen!  Super Auntie :)
Then my friend Teresa and her daughter Norah came by with dinner on Saturday night - yummy enchilladas :)  Dylan also realized nexy to Norah he has some work to do in the feeding department!
On Sunday we went back to church with the new baby, saw many, many friends and had a great time.  Then we came home and after lunch all took a NAP!
This morning (Monday), the lactation consultant stopped by to weigh Dylan again.  His last check on Thursday last week was 6 lbs.even.  He is now..... 6lbs. 7 ozs!!!!!  Feedings are still challenging but some are getting easier and he is gaining weight :)

  1. Boy he is tiny but a 7 ounce weight gain is great. Don't worry it will get easier and he will be big before you know it. Lainey was 6 pounds 0 ounces at 3 days of age. I am sure she is 11 1/2 pounds now at 10 weeks (we will see tomorrow). It is amazing how fast they grow. I find the first picture amusing. It does take a while to stop thinking you are pregnant. I am finally sleeping on my belly again. You look great and looks like you have a cute family. Congrats!
