The crib sideways- sorry!
These next three pictures are of the canvases we painted today. The first is from Herold's Animals, Animals, Animals cover - not written by Crockett Johnson, but still cool - and it works with the theme of the room.
This is from Herold's ABC's...the letter is "J" though I just let it blend into the "jet" Can you guess where the letter "J" would be?
This is from the book Herold's Circus. In the book, Herold puts his head into the lion's mouth in the next picture...this looks less scary to me though :) After he puts his head in, he pulls it out and draws in all the teeth!
These are three little 4x6 frames that we started with - they seemed much less daunting than the canvas.
My hope is to get these up in the next week on the walls. Then see if we can't get a Herold actually on the walls too!
Either way, I'm really excited to have some fun art work up!
